We are very pleased to have been awarded the Rooting Award from the Nourishing Our Future Campaign in recognition of the work we have done to support healthy eating in the setting.

Climate Action Award

A huge well done on your Climate Action Plan — it’s absolutely brilliant!

Your thoughtful, practical, and wide-ranging actions across all the areas are incredibly inspiring. It’s clear how much care and collaboration has gone into this, and I love how you’ve incorporated ideas families, staff, and the wider community.

The two idea’s I particularly love and would like to share further are your idea about ensuring unwanted resources are shared with families or donated to charity shops, and learning more about coastal erosion in your area/educating the children about this.

You’re setting a fantastic example of what climate leadership looks like in early years settings, and I’m so excited to see the impact this will have now and in the future.

Walton Pre School are so proud to share with all our families and community sponsors that all staff have been recognised within the setting to be able to support children with Communication and Speech and Language difficulties. We have been awarded a National Accredited Elklan Communication Friendly Setting award.

Tendring 4 Growth Business Awards – October 2024

Walton Pre School is very proud to be recognised for its outstanding community work and received a highly commended Business Award at Tendring Town Hall. It was a real red carpet event and we felt very special. Laura and Jackie represented the team and on being announced a with a full statement about our work being read out to the guests.

It was a beautiful evening and a lovely accolade to receive which recognises that we are so much more than a Pre school, we support our community too.
